"It's definitely weird," Peter agreed of this place. He hadn't gotten any major bad vibes yet, but he figured that was just a matter of time. Though one could argue his roommate being locked in their room might count as bad vibes, but they weren't directed at him so he was neutral on that one for the time being. "They say this place is haunted, it's definitely got that creepy feeling to it so I can see why you'd feel that way." Whether or not she was being watched was something Peter couldn't say but he certainly wasn't going to discount a strange feeling, as one who operated with the use of Spidey-sense he knew what it was to just have a feeling something was off.
He perked up a little when she told him she'd grown up on an island. "Yeah? Where was that?" He wondered, "Or are you like an island of Manhattan sort?" He teased with a small laugh, "Cause I grew up on Long Island if we're counting that." He joked, far too amused by the idea of saying he grew up on an island even if it was perhaps even a more groan worthy joke than he'd told in a very long time.
Peter was taller than Tony, and then there were others like Steve who was here and was a kind of buff Peter could never aspire to and others with so many different kinds of builds it really was pretty amazing that the hotel just magically seemed to have a wardrobe for them all without measurements needing to be taken. "It makes you wonder if they're keeping a tiny tailor hidden somewhere who is in charge of making rapid alterations to clothing when people show up." Because that's what they seemed to do - just show up. There wasn't a boat as he'd suggested, or a plane or even an elevator, one second no one was there and then the next - suddenly a new resident had arrived and a room and clothing and a phone were all set out for them and it was all just more than a little creepy if you sat and thought about it for too long.
"Ah yeah, the million dollar questions then, from what I've gathered so far there doesn't seem to be a reason for any of this and there definitely doesn't seem to be a way back just yet. Sometimes people disappear for no reason though - so maybe they knew something we don't." He suggested, but what they know wasn't going to help any of them now that they were gone - it wasn't like any of them were coming back to pass on the information.
