It was clear that Steve shared that sentiment. He even dipped forward, stealing one more tiny kiss before nodding. As much as he really wanted to shove Bucky up against the wall and make out in the dark, there probably was quite a bit he needed to hear. Especially if Bucky was telling him they'd need to sit down for this conversation. So, reluctantly, he put further displays of affection on the back burner, taking Bucky's hand and leading him further down the hall.
There were plenty of places they could have gone, even with the power outage keeping most of the hotel in the dark, but Steve opted to bring Bucky back to their room. Whatever Bucky wanted to tell him, it was likely private, and the best way to keep eavesdroppers from overhearing their discussion was to keep it behind their door.
Admittedly, he was curious to know what had happened past his point in time. With Sam, with Bucky. Had he realized who and what else would be involved with this topic, he might have been a little less eager to listen. Once they were in their room, Steve went around lighting a few candles that he had collected, bringing at least some visibility into the room. As he did so, he curiously glanced over his shoulder at Bucky. "Alright, tell me. What do I need to know?"
