There was much in the world that even Diana did not know, and so she did not fault him for lack of knowledge of Themyscira. Besides that, Zeus had made the island invisible to the eyes of mortals. It was something Diana herself had only managed twice. Once with a coffee cup (which she had promptly lost) and once with a plane. It was now her plane, because who else wanted an invisible jet? “I think you’d be much more fun at cocktail parties than I am.” She answered in kind, with a smile, because while Diana had a sense of humor, it never tended toward cruelty and rarely even sarcasm.
“I am very grateful to have met you already. I wasn’t sure if I was here alone.” Diana paused as a thought occurred to her, visibly tracking across her face until she vocalized it. “Are we the only ones here?” She wouldn’t mind, necessarily, but Tony did not seem to be in need of her help, and plenty of others surely were.
