Of all the boneheaded things he had ever done - and there were a lot of those despite his best efforts - making multiple attempts at shoulder checking the door was ranking almost as high up the list as helping Matt with Daredevil things. If Foggy had an idea of what Peter had initially thought, he would have chuckled warmly and shook his head at the idea that someone like Peter believed that Foggy would be the one bringing people back to the room. To be fair, that would have been a lot less embarrassing for Foggy if that really was the case.
"This wouldn't be so bad if there were snacks or something in here." He was doing his best to make light of the situation. It was how Foggy coped with stress, by cracking wise to anyone willing to listen. That Peter was still talking to him and was actively working to help unlock their room was helping to ease Foggy's frazzled mind. He really had lucked out with the whole roommate situation.
"Right, okay. Between the two of us we'll figure this out." He heard the handle jiggle and assumed that was Peter's doing. It would have been fantastic if that worked, but alas. "Wait," Foggy paused. "How and why do you have a screw driver?" He didn't think that was something people typically had on them unless they were a handyman of some sort. "That sounds easy enough." Admittedly, considering the hotel itself, that might be easier said than done. Finding the screwdriver, Foggy thanked Peter under his breath before moving to get to work on the hinges.
