"I was an only child, so my father was particularly displeased that I would rather be with the books than finding an appropriate wife." Of course, he'd been more disappointed that Theo hadn't been interested in a wife at all, but that was neither here nor there. "How many siblings do you have, and were your parents succeed in their spouse hunting for them?"
Theo grinned at the mention of adventuring, mostly because it made him think of Gilmore. "I feel like I'm an anomaly here. So many people went adventuring back in their homes, while I did all I could to avoid adventures altogether." He wished he'd remember enough about the hotel to make some changes when he went home, because maybe adventures weren't all that bad. He shook those thoughts away, intrigued by the mention of the mobile home. "Is it transfigured out of something, or do you conjure it when needed?" The mention of dispelling made him think it was more along the lines of conjuration.
"I think some people who have left here and then come back have mentioned having vague memories, like dreams, when they got home so perhaps there's some hope." Optimism didn't come naturally to Theo, but he was making an effort not to be too fatalistic about things. "Hogwarts is the school I went to. It was founded centuries ago, so Hogwarts, a History is a great stepping stone into my world. It covers a lot, and if you find anything particularly interesting, you can find other books about it here."
