"Not an intrusion at all. I did give an open invitation, and if I'd wanted to be alone I have ways of keeping people out," Theo said, returning the handshake with just the right amount of pressure. "Yes, I'm Theo, and please. Don't apologize for enjoying books. It's always wonderful to find someone as fond of them as I am."
He looked around, seeing the library through his guests' eyes, and smiled. "I did some remodeling after I inherited the estate, though mostly it was getting rid of my father's so-called improvements." The less said about that the better, and his tone made that clear.
"Yes, I'm a wizard, though I'm not sure the type of magic I have is able to be taught to someone without magic, there are certainly books you can read, and attempt some of the spells within." He considered Percy a moment. "Perhaps a beginner's book, though. I would hate to be responsible if you blew yourself up." He turned and walked towards the next shelf, and pulled out a worn copy of the Standard Book of Spells, volume one. "This is an excellent primer for Charms, though you're welcome to look around for something else. I have a lot of history books, fiction...well, pretty much everything. My family has always collected books, so many of these date back several generations."
