Armitage had presumed the ring that appeared in his room a short time prior was intended for Poe. It was too small to fit on any of Ben's fingers and too large for Rey's. Perhaps, the hotel really did acknowledge their union. Which, oddly enough, meant far more to Armitage than he ever expected it to. Marriage had never been a priority, had never been something he wanted until recently. Now, the very sight of that wedding band nearly made him break down and cry. It was official. It was real.
The ring was gold in color, lightweight and durable. He wasn't even sure if Poe would like it, but he hoped he would. Armitage gently took the pilot's hand, suddenly awfully nervous, slipping the band directly onto his finger -- and thank the stars, it fit.
Armitage's expression was caught somewhere between excited and an attempt to remain calm, his touch never quite leaving his husband's hand. Yeah, he liked the way that tiny glimmer of gold looked on his finger. If Poe wasn't careful, Armitage might actually start developing a sense of possession over him. "Do you like it?"
