"I already gave it up once. I'm not sure it could really be bound to anything," Natasha admitted, though she liked the thought of being able to stay here period with him - and the other members of her family. But she could appreciate him not wanting to do it unless there was a way to undo it - after all, someone else might change their mind about being here.
Natasha smiled softly against his lips and rested her forehead on his for a moment, then returned her attention to getting them both into the gondola without any messes or tumbles. She laughed at him as he stepped in, then shook her head a bit. "It depends on how deep the river is - for all we know, you could stand up in it and not have to worry about drowning."
She let him tug her down onto the bench beside him, and after a moment the boat began to drift downstream slowly of its own volition. It was a slight surprise, but Natasha figured that was part of what added to the 'romantic' atmosphere. "Well. This is...nice." And a little boring, but she wasn't going to say that.
