John gave a snort of amusement at her words, knowing that it would take a bloody miracle for her to not look incredible, at least in his eyes. He could wax lyrical on her looks all day, but it was what lay beneath the surface that he liked the most. He'd always been attracted to the darkness but Natasha's came with humour and wit, a tactic that John knew all too well and appreciated too.
"Take it and run with it, darling," he said with a chuckle as he leant in and gave her a delicate, approving kiss. "Uncaffinated, inebriated, I'll take you any way I find you," John told her with a soft smile he saved for just her. "I thought I was going to have to persuade you and I'll be totally honest I wasn't sure exactly how," he said with an amused grin. "Let's go and have some fun, eh?"
He watched as Natasha prepared herself only mildly surprised she wasn't already tooled up and ready for battle. "You're very sexy when you're dangerous, I hope you know that," John said as he lead the way and picked a random direction. He only knew what Strange had told him about the portals, which was very little and vague as fuck, but they didn't lead to the same destination and at least one lead back to Tortuga. "We're taking this one," he said pointing ahead to the landing area, "because I'm a lazy bastard and will take the first one we come to. Now, snuggle up and hold on tight, Nat. I don't want to end up on the other side without you," John said opening his arms to her.
