Scott gave a frown, aware the hotel dressed them for each land so that they'd fit in better. "What was the dress like that you hated it so much?" he asked Cora. It must have been pretty damned bad to elicit that kind of reaction.
"That must have been before my time," he replied as Cora explained her recognition of the place. "The other Scott must have gotten to explore this place, huh?" he gave a small frown, even now slightly weirded out knowing a whole other him had been here before and experienced so much that he couldn't remember.
"You're thinking about eating?" Scott looked at her mildly amused and slightly in awe. "Either you're really hungry or the smells really don't bother you in the slightest and I can't work out if maybe it's both," he said with a chuckle. He wasn't going to object to the tavern, though. It was pretty rowdy, for sure, but Scott knew he and Cora could handle most anything these pirates threw their way. "So we get grog?" he asked as his eyes got to work exploring the new environment. "Are you sure this isn't a different kind of establishment?" Scott asked under his breath as he glanced towards the barmaids in their low-cut smocks and their waist-squishing corsets.
