Din nodded as she introduced herself and held out a hand when she offered him her name, "Mando," He told her, after his talk with Luke he decided that the old name was a better fit for now, he'd get around to opening up about his true name in time - into feeling comfortable with others using it, but for now it still felt a little too wrong to simply give up his name to people who were still strangers to him, despite knowing it was something of a pointless exercise.
She at least hadn't sent him on his way when he offered her a bit of company in the park, though he suspected the company was just as much for him as it was for her. Being on his own like this was - well normally he didn't mind being alone, but something about the hotel and the portals - all of it left him feeling a little off kilter and seeking out company far more than he would have normally.
"Ah no, I don't think we have anything like this where I'm from." He admitted, at least not that he'd seen. There were markets like this place had, but the expanse of it all was something new for him. "All of this is normal for you?" He asked, as she'd said - it was hard to imagine the kind of place where all of this was normal, but then if this was normal he could only imagine what his world would look like in comparison. "Maybe on one of the core planets they'd have something like this," He said shrugging, "I've never been quite that far in though." He'd never been beyond the Mid Rim in all his travels, did she know about the Republic? The core planets? Din didn't know, and knowing so many people here knew about him had him opening up more than he might have on his own.
