"They have insurance guys, right? I mean you guys dropped a space ship on New York you've got to have insurance." Matt reasoned, but it was obvious before Clint even confirmed it for him that he was an Avenger and not some sort of side character within the organization. "They said you had bow and arrows, I wasn't totally sure I believed it." He admitted with a low laugh, teasing mostly - he'd heard enough about what happened, seen enough himself, to know that Hawkeye truly was the bow and arrows dude as he said.
Holding on to Clint's arm, he walked with him toward the elevator an ear turned up just a little trying to place the different heartbeats, looking for someone familiar in all of this. But each one he heard didn't seem right, there was no one he knew here - at least for the moment. He heard bits of conversation throughout the hotel - people just going about their days, some excited about some new development, something about dinosaurs? Matt didn't really know but he was devoting half his attention to Clint and their conversation, mapping out their path as they went.
"Noted," Ghosts were going to require a little bit of study - he didn't know what he was doing here, didn't know how he was going to get back, all of this was going to take time. "I know the Avengers, well I don't know the Avengers, I know of the Avengers - like you said." He agreed, "So you were there then, during the incident?" it had been some time since then, but that was when the Avengers had been closest to home for him, when he'd been most aware of them and what they were doing. Making it all the more undeniable that he needed to do something too, in his own way.
