Here, in the hotel, and anywhere else they landed, Ben had not been able to once feel the Force as strong as he did back home. In his own galaxy, wherever that might be. Now and then, he could sense its pull. Sometimes strong like a rushing river. Other times, it was so quiet that he had to block out everything else just to hear it. Whatever these portals were made of, he didn't feel them. They were just three large holes of adventure, beckoning him in.
Ben had expected Finn to derail his curiosity. Rey had warned him of the dangers and while it was sweet and thoughtful of her to do so, Ben felt it was unnecessary. Even if it was too dangerous, there wasn't much to keep him from jumping through. He'd gathered an assortment of items from all three places. Currently, he had a bunch of chocolates in one of his pockets. When he heard Finn agree to join him and so quickly, Ben got an idea.
He pulled out one of the chocolates and held it out for Finn as he took another out for himself. "I've already had cotton candy for breakfast." Treats were a thing for him too.
Ben raised an eyebrow. Hold hands. With a straight face, he managed to answer in the most serious voice he could muster up right there. "Yes. So we don't get separated." Ben started to walk towards the closest portal, hand extended to Finn. "Better hold on tight."
