"You are obsessed with these giant bugs," Gilmore said as he looked around properly. "I hope I get to meet some someday to find out what all of the fuss is about ohmy-" he cut off, looking at Theo in his much different get up to what he'd been wearing in the library.
He looked down at himself. "Well, please don't tell anyone about this when we go back," he said, looking distastefully at the coat and the undershirt that was mostly undone. He pulled at the strings just to make it slightly more decent, but it was fiddly and ridiculous.
With a sigh, Gilmore abandoned it and looked around instead. "Pirates." He'd known of pirates, he'd known some pirates, and they weren't people to be trifled with or teased. They didn't look like the pirates from back home, so that could be ruled out. They weren't in Exandria. "Shall we?"
Gilmore set off, waiting for Theo to walk beside him, wandering out into the port proper. There was a lot of activity, which was to be expected, things being loaded and unloaded certainly, but also an awful lot of people just hanging around, in various stages to drunk, in various states of dress, and in various degrees of standing.
"My my, I think I should take you back, there's an awful lot of debauchery going on."
