Since they were stopped, Steve did take a moment to examine the sweets around them. Thus far, there hadn't been any suspicious activity.. Which, in itself, should have been suspicious. But Steve was oddly willing to drop his guard down a notch. Maybe, it really was just a world made of candy. Maybe, for once, it was what it appeared to be on the surface. He leaned down, plucking a few blades of grass. Blue eyes looked them over, and after a moment, he even dared to eat them.
Bold. Or stupid, maybe. Picking anything up off the ground and putting it in your mouth was just asking for something gross to happen.
But it didn't and Steve smiled a second time. Okay, fine. Maybe this sugar-filled world was growing on him. "Well, it's not poisoned." He plucked a few more blades of candy grass, playfully dragging the edges over Bucky's lips. "Here, does this taste like sour apple to you?"
Flirting. This was something Steve had been shying away from, even after Bucky had regained his memories. But with every passing day, his boyfriend seemed to be growing more and more comfortable, both in his environment and around Steve. And maybe, he could get away with trying to feed Bucky sugar grass..
"If I told you that I still had a weak stomach after the serum, would you believe me?" That wide grin was still on his face. No, should have been the answer to that question. But even if Steve did have a sensitive stomach, it wouldn't have mattered. He'd ride anything Bucky asked him to ride. ..there was a euphemism in there somewhere.
