When it came to magic, Bucky had only one opinion; he didn't like it. Sure, it could be useful. Sometimes even fun. But he'd been on the wrong end of it for too long. If he could manage to, he avoided magic as much as possible. Which was actually kind of difficult considering that they were stuck in a building that seemed to be nothing but magic.
When the portals first arrived, Bucky had been suspicious. Even after hearing about it from Steve how they worked and where they had come from, he hadn't been thrilled about trying them out. Portal-hopping with Ciri, the young Witcher girl, had left his stomach feeling queasy for hours after. But they had been fun.
It hadn't taken much for Steve to convince him to give the portals a try. Steve had brought up dinosaurs and pirates when he'd gone out with Tony. Personally, Bucky was more enticed with getting to see a T-Rex or a velociraptor more than a pirate. Either way, he had Steve's hand in his. He had no complaints.
Even if where they ended up was Planet Sugar.
"What the hell...." Bucky's jaw was on the candy-coated ground. Was that a cherry on top of that mountain? The air was so sweet, his teeth ached when he breathed. But after a few minutes, he started to smack his lips, hungry. "No. I'm good. Are ... the dinosaurs going to be candy?" He had to ask, turning to Steve with a semi-hopefull expression. Or was this completely different?
