Steve made another face, but this one was purely out of disappointment. Tony might have been exaggerating about the fire and people being eaten. But even if he wasn't, Steve wouldn't have been shocked. He remembered Bug Land very well, so he was aware that the hotel was capable of that sort of thing. Thinking about the dinosaur park going to hell was kind of sad, though. Or maybe Steve had just grown attached to that baby Apatosaurus a little too quickly.
There was a brief lull of silence that followed the statement about Parker. Steve debated asking how Tony was handling all of this. He had seemed fine that day when Steve had swung by the lab to drop the coffee off. Then again, the blonde wasn't entirely sure that Tony was willing to discuss it. He wasn't even sure that they were at a point where Tony wanted to have serious conversations with him. So he'd avoid it for now, deciding it best to just try and be emotional support where Tony would allow it.
"I don't know if this Peter likes churros as much as ours does, but I'm pretty sure I saw a place that sells them in the shopping center, if you want to bring one back for him?"
