It was alright, Tony didn't need a retort when watching Steve pet dinosaurs like they were dogs was an option instead. It was just... wholesome. Like catching Captain America in Disneyland. But with dinosaurs, obviously. Tony wasn't innocent of reaching out to pat the big guy on the neck before he got interested in someone carrying some big leaves nearby, either.
Dinosaurs were pretty fantastic. They'd be less so if they roamed free everywhere -- Tony rather thought they'd be like geese or moose in that regard; stalling on the road and leaving giant dumps everywhere. But here they were --well. Awesome.
"We've been here before. It starts out nice. Wait a few days and there'll be fire and people getting eaten, probably." He wasn't sure when the time frame for that was and maybe he was just stalling. A little.
"Pete's pretty great," he admitted after a beat. "He's brilliant. Enthusiastic. Socially awkward."
