Taking in a deep breath, Finn let his mind be tricked for the moment that they were in space. That there was no strange hotel, but there was also no First Order. They were all a unique grouping of people without the war bringing them together, however that shared background could be ignored to just enjoy the differences between them all. Finn was finally really getting it.
Adjusting to lean upon his elbow and look down at Poe, he kissed him again. "This is exactly what I needed," he whispered against his lips before laying back down beside him. He knew he had said it already. It didn't matter. Laying in the starlit darkness felt nice, the soft breathing of his best beside him in whatever silent moments happened. That made every worry melt away.
