For some it was a power to become invisible. J'mon was rather good at that one. It helped in a pinch, and it was particularly useful when lurking, looming, spying... whatnot. But there were a good number of people who could see through such illusions and there were spells still that could make people see past the physical realm and into the ethereal. They rather doubted that Willie would be able to become invisible to them, either. No one could. True-Seeing revealed all.
They settled down in a chair just off to the side, watching as the different pieces of safety equipment popped into place. Another illusion they were familiar with, but one they supposed operated differently for him. It was fascinating, though. Like armor. They supposed it served the same purpose.
And it was quite impressive, too. They could see how the muscles moved and how weight and balance came into play along with the subtle manipulation of velocity and gravity. It was lovely. It was genuinely really lovely. They could imagine it on the water as well, and that was perhaps even more beautiful. It was a bit like a dance - albeit very complicated. The skill it took was fantastic, impressive. A delight to watch. It was obvious if Willie glanced back at them that they were totally enthralled.
