If J'mon was going to engage in deep philosophical or theological debate, they preferred to be a lot more comfortable for it. There was a certain kind of enjoyment in such conversations, but it depended largely on the mood set and the company it was shared with. There was a time and a place. This wasn't it. And while they were sure that Willie would be perfectly adept at something like that, he didn't seem like he would enjoy it much; which made it a moot point for J'mon.
They smiled softly as Willie startled at the touch - or, rather, the lack of it. It was such an interesting sensation that J'mon almost wanted to revisit it. It reminded them of the rare cool places under shade, or by a pool. The pure ice of the spirits they had known could not hope to compare. "The fact that you can choose one or the other is more interesting to me," J'mon said. "I have touched skin before, I have never felt that." They seemed pleased with it, though. But there was a hint of an apology in their smile for having caught him off guard.
"Go on, then," they nodded. "I find my curiosity overwhelming. Let us see what tricks you have." They did come out here to see skateboarding, after all. Not to ruminate over the texture of ghosts.
