"Maybe they have you just haven't found the people who do it yet?" Willie offered. "Our island nations thought it up and now everywhere there's an ocean and a tide there are surfers."
Willie was trying hard not to use his typical slang words, knowing the other would not necessarily understand them, but then some things had been lost to language for decades so the brain did not recognize it as slang any longer. It wasn't until someone asked for an explanation that he would think to give simpler definitions.
"Sure!" He exclaimed. "Um, the lobby is like the best place for it because it's a lot of smooth surfaces opposed to the carpeted areas. I've totally been yelled at by some of the ghosts here as if I'm going to damage something. I find it funny."
