"Just enough to put us into that situation in the first place." He said shaking his head, though there hadn't been any other options as far as Din had been able to see at the time - and even now he wasn't sure there had been any other way. All of it had happened to get Grogu to Luke and in the end they made it happen, no matter how certain he'd felt he'd lead them all into a death trap. If he'd been going to die that had been a worthy group of allies to die with.
"That's what she said," Din said recognizing the name, "She knew a Jedi Master named Yoda, he was the only being like Grogu she'd ever known before." Din couldn't help wondering where Grogu had even come from. He knew some of Grogu's history, that there was darkness but so much of it was still unknown to him and he didn't know if he'd ever get those answers. But maybe Luke had learned more in the time that he'd known Grogu here, he could hope at least. Or maybe, though he didn't dare to let himself hope, the child would return here too and he might have a chance to find those answers.
He looked out over the water - it wasn't the largest body of water he'd ever seen, if there was an escape that direction certainly someone would have found it by now. Still he couldn't help but wonder. "I like the quiet." He admitted as he looked at the water. "Haven't had a lot of that for a while now."
