It was some kind of relief that Luke had been a Jedi sometime, that meant when he'd taken on Grogu he'd had even more experience than he did now. He nodded though, "That's good, that - I'm glad we were able to find you." That it was Luke they'd found and not someone else, even if there was anyone else they could have gone with - anyone else willing to do it.
Luke was, well he was both just like he'd been that day, there was something about him that was calm and together in a way that said he was exactly who Din had thought he'd been that day on Gideon's ship. But more than that he was open and smiling, easy to talk to - Din wanted to talk with him more, to know him not just because he'd sent Grogu off with him, but because Luke seemed like someone he wanted to know and count among those he considered allies if not friends. But maybe that would come in time too.
"You saved us." He said finally, "That day we met - it was... I haven't felt that certain I would die since I'd been a child." He confessed. Not since the day his parents tried to hide him away, not since he'd stared down a droid knowing those moments would be his last. And been droids he'd been facing down that day too. "But you came in and just - made it look so easy."
