"I don't know what the right answer is," he admitted - what did he prefer? It had never been a question of that before. No one had ever needed to know him as anything other than Mando, his name had always felt secret, private - like his face. But even before he'd come here his name had been known, he'd shown his face - was he even Mandalorian anymore? Bo-Katan made him think maybe it wasn't quite so strict as his tribe had lead him to believe, but they'd raised him, trained him, taught him to be everything he was - how could he be anything other than what they'd made? All of it was complicated, and now here people knew him - they called him by name and had spent time with him - how did he put that back together with what his life had become?
Luke at least seemed calm about all of this, and not pushing for him to talk much either - though that only seemed to give Din's mind the freedom to spin out of control with unasked questions and fears and doubts. He followed after Luke a few steps behind him as he started toward the trail he'd pointed out. A tour was probably the best he could ask for at this point, that was at least something real that he could look at and visualize and understand - everything else was another matter entirely.
He nodded when Luke confirmed his suspicions, the other him had shown his face he was more known than Din had ever been in his life and he didn't know what to do with that. "Did you know him well?" He asked, not sure whether he wanted to know - but better to hear about it from someone he'd met at least once before - rather than someone he'd never heard of before, that was too surreal for him so soon after his arrival.
