Obviously, the whole thing was extremely new to her. But for the first time in her life Phasma felt like she was more than a bit out of her depth. This had simply never been an option she had ever considered. Her experience was effectively null before she'd come here, though. There wasn't any way it could have happened before. At least Noah had been through this before, from his perspective, and with the knowledge of the resources and technology available in this world. It still made her uneasy, though. For someone who swathed herself in metal and tech, this was something that she felt she didn't want to meddle with too much. And it was easy enough for her to figure out why. It was so delicate. There were so many ways it could go awry. Her fear was that the wrong person would prod at her the wrong way and everything would go sideways.
She took a deep breath and rest her forehead against Noah's shoulder for a moment, closing her eyes, letting her feelings settle. She may not have experienced a lot of the side-effects, but her feelings had been a lot stronger than they had ever been - more of them, more intense, changing with more frequency. Sometimes she just needed to pause to draw everything back together.
"If you could?" she finally replied. "I'm still not entirely certain that I'm completely comfortable with it, but if you think that it's for the best, then we'll do it this way." Mostly because she didn't have a very good reason to deny the request. Her only thought was that people did this all the time without outsider intervention. But if Noah wanted help from his friend, then it might be useful further on down the line. And it wasn't like Phasma hadn't been getting help from her friends as well. Not that they had acknowledged the particulars of it. But Slade had been simply putting tea and food and other things in front of her with a knowing look and walking away before either of them could say anything about it for a fair few weeks. She knew he knew. But it wasn't something that needed to be mentioned by either of them.
