Phasma was pretty firm in her way of doing things, but she didn't hold too tightly to her memories of the Scyre. It was simply what she had known and if a better alternative was presented she had always been willing to defer to that. She knew that world was broken. They had gotten by mostly through desperation and stubbornness. Nothing she'd known since then had ever fully compared to the first seventeen years of her life. If Noah wanted to focus on something smaller and more insular then she could see the reason in that. There were several people she wanted nowhere near this child, anyhow.
And, besides, if she compromised on something that was important to him, he may just compromise on something that was actually important to her, down the line.
She gave him an understanding nod and shifted to reach for her tea before settling comfortably against him again. "I think we got along fairly well. He's..." What word did she want? "Excitable? But it's very sweet. I can see where he takes after you, too." They both had the same serious face and absolutely delighted her. It had been a fairly impersonal meeting, though, but she was sure there would be an opportunity in the future for them to sit down and get to know one another when there wasn't the immediate thread of murderous rodents.
She laughed softly and shook her head, "I forget nothing," she said, "it's one of the unfortunate side-effects of having my brain. Great for tactics, terrible for everything else." Especially when she also had a perfect replay of every moment she had ever experienced. She very much doubted that she would be forgetting much of anything about this experience. But it might end up being worth it in the end.
