Finn had never had a hug or even a pat on the shoulder until Poe and Rey, so he learned to like giving hugs very quickly. They felt nice. They gave a strange sense of security and community and acceptance. Man, did he need to go find one of his friends and just cuddle with them for hours.
Grinning, Finn chose to ignore the blushing, because he preferred when others did so for him. It was a compliment really that this cute, young version of the legend of a man would blush in reaction to his hugging. Finn would take it.
He might have to have some more Mountain Dew later. His head was starting to hurt from the pure amount of sugar inside of it. "Yes, sir. I mean-" He huffed softly. "Do I still just call you Luke? It feels weird."
