Finn let out a breath he had not wholly been aware he was holding. Jumping up from his seat, he stumbled over his chair to give the man a hug before he could stop himself. Pulling away, he held Luke at arm's length. "I- did not mean to do that. I'm sorry." He scratched his cheek. "I will try not to hug you again."
In a life where you were given a number as a name, never given real friendship or love, and all you had to do was go out to fight someone else's war, something so simple to others could not be any more appreciated. A pat on the head and just a good try would have been enough if Luke had not wanted to train him or did not see what Rey saw.
