He wasn’t trying to look. They barely knew each other. Well, at least not enough to be stealing glances.
Also, seriously? Priorities, Ben Solo.
This interaction was going better than he’d hoped. He’d expected a lot more resistance from Finn, especially given their last encounter in the woods. To him, that had been years but for Finn, it was barely a few days. There was a lot in between that would have made this meeting even more difficult. Now Ben was curious exactly what he knew.
He whistled and Ari emerged from the bushes, dragging a limp and very dead rabbit back to him in her beak. “Might have to use that shirt of yours as a bag, if you don’t mind. Ph— there’s a few people around collecting the fur.” Ben gestured toward the ruined piece of clothing, hoping the suggestion didn’t come across as pushy.
Finn was Force-sensitive. He didn’t remember sensing that at all back on the Finalizer but then, he’d been distracted. And it also made sense. “You should speak with my uncle then.” Ben knelt down and took the dead rabbit from Ari, then scooped her up in his arms as he straightened up again. And his uncle was a perfect way to bring up another student of his. “What exactly did Rey tell you? About what happens ... about me?”
