Gilmore was never one to turn down the opportunity to learn new things. Especially new magical things. The idea excited him. He might have even said he was thrilled. Certainly the fact that the information came wrapped in an interesting new companion added to that thrill.
His shared room was vacant for the time being, though he didn't know if there was perhaps something he could do to signal that he had company should Sabrina come back early. He'd never shared a room, even in his younger days- but Theodore had. Perhaps he could ask him what the etiquette was.
His robes were hung up, leaving him in just his dark purple pants and the black tunic he wore beneath, less ornate than his robes (and a little tight across his chest and belly) but practical, and he sat cross-legged on the bed, lost in thoughts of what he had left behind. It wasn't the best thing to reminisce on when he was hopeless to change that path, and he didn't want to be in a melancholy mood when Theodore arrived.
