The mention of Phasma's death caused Armitage to tense up all over again. Even though this wasn't new information and the ginger had come to terms with what had happened aboard the Supremacy, it was still something of a sore subject. He turned away from Finn - which was telling, considering he never would have turned his back to Finn in the past - and resumed his task of preparing food for his boyfriend.
"Phasma doesn't wear her armor so much these days. You probably won't even recognize her without her helmet. And Ben, well.. He's less prone to tantrums here, so thank the stars for that. I'd like to think you'd extend the same courtesy to them. That you'll give them a chance as well, despite them not having directly asked for it."
Armitage briefly glanced over his shoulder, looking at Finn. "We don't deserve it. I know we don't. Poe and Rey never witnessed the same atrocities that you did. It's easier for them to separate the war from the hotel. But for us, it's different." He paused a second time, reaching for a baking sheet. "Is there anything I can do to help ease your mind?"
