To be fair, Stanley didn't know particularly much about gravitational pull either, so he wasn't actually sure why he'd asked that. Caduceus could very well have said something along the lines of big waves and Stan would have just nodded sagely like it made total sense. Or as much sense as anything else. Stanley wasn't too proud to admit that: "I don't actually know much about gravitational pull. Sorry. Why's it a bad omen?"
Conversation did make it easier, the oddness of this. It wasn't hard to decide from here that not much had changed from computer conversation to in person, even if neither probably looked like the other imagined. Stanley considered the countertops, stove and cabinets full of supplies for a moment before nodding thoughtfully. "Vegetarian is good," he said, because it sort of made sense, didn't it? "I'm not, but I like vegetables plenty but there are things I shouldn't eat because of my religion." Sometimes Stan played it fast and loose with kosher restrictions because he was something of a rebel and shrimp alfredo was good, but mostly he followed it. "There are plenty Jewish recipes we could make, but I think we could start simpler just to learn the things in the kitchen before we move on to latke. Do you like noodles?"
