Who: Caduceus and Stanley What: Cooking with new magic When: 31st March Where: Kitchens Status: Ongoing/Locked Warnings: Low
Settling in here was difficult. Caduceus liked to think that, outwardly, he had always seemed very much like a man taking things in his stride even if inside he was a mess. Now it was proving difficult to keep the inside from reaching the outside, and he'd seen himself in the mirror conveniently placed in the bathroom enough times in the last few days to be sure that he was ruffled.Â
Things had helped. There had been things. One of those things- no, no. One of those people had been Stanley. His messages that appeared on the magic box had been reassuring and helpful and kind, and he had offered more help if Caduceus needed it.Â
He kind of thought he needed it.Â
He had questions, questions that he had gathered by this point were very much not things that other people had. Everything here seemed pretty commonplace for the other residents, and whilst Caduceus knew there would be a limit before he grew annoying he figured he could get a few things answered.Â
There was also the fact that he was sure he was a bit of an anomaly here. Being as big as he was, and being as odd looking as he was (he had a lot of human and human adjacent friends, his people didn't get around a lot) he was kind of worried that it would be too much for his potential new friend. Caduceus could deal with that. It would be fine.Â
They had talked about cooking together, he and Stanley, about Caduceus learning how to use the things there. So it seemed like a good place for them to start.Â
He'd been to the kitchen already and had immediately turned around and walked out again. This time he stood at the edge, looking around at all of the shiny surfaces, not ready to touch anything yet for fear of what disaster he could potentially cause whilst he waited for Stanley.Â
