Caduceus watched, because he didn't want to miss a second, he didn't want to look away. Watching the colour flood into Caleb's cheeks and the way he shook, the way his lovely lips were parted for him to groan, the expression he wore was the most beautiful thing Caduceus had ever seen.
Having Caleb withdraw made him whimper, made his muscles clench as though to keep him inside. He ached with the sudden emptiness. But for all that he looked at Caleb, unable to tear his eyes away. His chest hurt with the image the other man painted, knelt there in the space between Caduceus' legs. And as Caleb licked his hand, Caduceus licked his lips, the desire to kiss him almost overwhelming.
Caduceus spread his arm out as Caleb lay down so that he could envelope him in a hug, hold him close to his body as though even the slightest distance between them would be unbearable. Pleasure still distantly pulsed through him with his heartbeat, his skin still tingling from the whole experience, but this was so good. Laying his hand upon Caleb's cheek, Caduceus smiled down at him, pressing his lips to his friend's forehead, then his nose, which he bumped gently with his own.
Out of the heat of the moment, the prospect of kissing Caleb made him nervous again. "That was incredible," he whispered. "You take my breath away, Caleb." His fingers slid up into soft red hair, though he was more gentle than he had been earlier. "I'm going to kiss you." Caduceus waited only a heartbeat longer and then leant in, kissing Caleb finally. His first kiss. Their first kiss. It was a different kind of pleasure that shivered through him now, warmth curling in his chest like he'd never felt before.
He, too, could stay like this forever, the two of them comfortably wound around each other. Even when this new place saw fit to part them, or the tower disappeared (whichever came first) it would take a miracle to stop Caduceus from coming back here and climbing straight back into Caleb's embrace.
