It was a dangerous thing to reveal to Caleb something that you enjoyed, because he would inevitably keep coming back to that thing over and over again just to continue to bring joy. That was the whole purpose of the Tower. And everything that happened within it seemed to just push that idea home. Now he knew that Caduceus liked having his hair toyed with, that a little tug or brush of nails could take his breath away and warm his cheeks and cause him to make the most addictive noises. Caleb would remember that.
And once he was up on the ledge of the pool, his hands found Caduceus' hair again - petting softly, twirling strands around his fingers as Caduceus reached out for him again as well. The soft touch made him shiver and raised goosebumps along his skin. From this position it was also nearly impossible to hide the effect it had on other parts of his body. And while Caleb didn't have anything to be ashamed of, he would have liked perhaps a touch more modesty in that regard. It was just that Caduceus was so close and his movements were so gentle. He couldn't help it even if he tried. The further up his leg Caduceus moved, the more Caleb would have liked to have a bit of control over that part of his anatomy but, alas, that wasn't how humans were made.
"That sounds perfect," he nodded and stroked his fingers down the side of his friend's neck, taking in a bit more before he had to pull away. He made no effort to put his clothes back on and instead moved straight for the comfortable nook he had created. A brief gust cantrip mostly dried him off before he settled down, arranging the cushions a little better and draping a thin woven blanket over some of them. He could have covered himself then, too, but he figured they were already in the thick of it. Besides, nothing that happened in this place held any sway over them back home. It gave him a certain freedom to indulge in ways he might not have indulged in with one constant thread or another hot on their heels.
As soon as he was comfortable, he leaned forward and reached out to Caduceus, hoping the movement would disguise how his eyes were wandering over him. He knew exactly how he could fit himself against that body and while he also knew exactly what he wanted when he got there, he didn't hold too tightly to the assumption that Caduceus would want it too. Just laying there in the Grove would be good enough for him.
