Caduceus stood where he was, looking down at Caleb on his bed, his brow furrowed. It was a little bit beyond his intellect- if Caleb couldn't grasp it that well then there was no chance he could. What he did grasp was that there was possibly another Caduceus in his place, seeing his family, being in the grove when he couldn't be there. He didn't get to see them.
"Do you still have the dreams? The ones you were having?" he asked, his free hand reaching out to first pet the top of Caleb's head, and then to gently tuck some of his hair behind his ear, still frowning. "I should-" see if he could feel the Wildmother. See if he could contact Her. But the thought of not being able to chilled him enough to put him off for the moment. Blissful ignorance was one of his more favoured ways of being. "I could see why it would take you, but I don't know why it would take me."
Caduceus smiled then. "I'm flattered to have made it into your dream if it is just that, though." Wherever they were, at least Caleb wasn't alone anymore. "Is there anything I can do for you? Do you need to be healed? Or I can try greater restoration? Or-" he looked around for some other way he could be of use. "-I could try and cast word of recall again? Did you try and transport?" That seemed stupid to ask. Caleb had probably tried everything. "Sorry."
