"I'm willing to play along for now, but if you ask me to do anything that will ruin my clothes I may have to decline." Theo was wearing a pair of slim-cut trousers in dark green, and a lighter green shirt with delicate threads of golden woven through. "Now that the hotel has provided me some of my clothes from home, I don't want to ruin them." Particularly because he wasn't sure how to properly wash anything. "I'm very glad we don't have to build anything from scratch."
Theo could put together what a chemical reaction was from context. It sounded much like what happened when you combined different potions ingredients or spells. He filed away the names of the elements, not sure if the information would ever be useful but he always liked to learn new things.
"Would conjuring them, or duplicating one of the appropriate sizes interfere with the magic?" He wasn't looking forward to scavenging through the island to find a dozen rocks when it would be so much faster to magic them up. "And no, I have not. This is an entirely new experience for me."
