Eddie jumped just a little bit at the thunk of the water bottle, tipping himself upright in the water and shaking his hair out of his face. “Shit, sorry!” he wasn’t particularly embarrassed; he was becoming more and more comfortable with himself and things like being naked, but he didn’t exactly think it was polite to expose anyone else to it when they hadn’t been expecting it.
Seeing it was Audrey standing at the side of the pool was a little bit of relief though, at least it hadn’t been a minor or someone he didn’t know at all. And she seemed like someone who wouldn’t exactly be offended. She also was someone he didn’t think he would mind being around, even if it hadn’t really been what he’d expected for the night. And he assumed she had to think the same if she hadn’t left as soon as she’d seen him.
“I forgot you came down here late too.” he admit, treading in the water not too far from the side, feeling like there wouldn’t be much to see if he just stayed like that. He could put on his shorts if she seemed like she would be more comfortable, but he also didn’t particularly feel compelled to if she didn’t say anything.
