Thread: Theo & Willie
Who: Theo & Willie
Where: Just outside the hotel, possibly into Dublin
When: 16 March, early evening
What: Theo meets a ghost
Status: Closed, On-Going
Warnings: Probably none
Theo had decided to test a theory. He'd left the hotel, wandered a bit into Dublin, then found an abandoned alley. Careful that there were no Muggles around, he tried to Apparate home. Instead of appearing at the manor, he found himself back at the hotel and feeling a little queasy. One of those things had happened: either the manor didn't exist in this reality (all too possible) or the hotel's magic extended into this version of Dublin and prevented him from returning home. He supposed he wasn't surprised by that, and it might even have been a good thing that his attempt failed. After all, there was a very high chance that this version of Dublin existed in a different time than he was from, as well as a different world. Still, it was disappointing in its own way. Even if he hadn't been able to stay (he theorized the hotel would have pulled him back even if he had been able to get home), he'd wanted to make sure the elves and animals were surviving without him. With a sigh, he turned to head into the hotel proper. He'd promised Levi he'd modernize his clothes, and there was no time like the present for that when he noticed someone come through the door. Literally through the door, and Theo peered more closely at him. He didn't look like any sort of ghost he'd seen before, but there could be few other explanations for someone walking through a solid door like it wasn't even there. Not a hotel ghost, though. At least, he didn't think so. "Hello," Theo said, as he walked up the stairs to the hotel entrance. He wondered how long the ghost had been there and if he'd seen him Disapparate through the hotel window. Funny how a month ago that would have made Theo a criminal, and here it didn't even matter. |
