“A lot of them try. To do good. Forgive. It’s a big part of why I ended up siding with you guys.” He echoed his words about humans to Lucifer all those years ago. The conversation and his current very human state definitely had him thoughtful. As much as he badly wanted to be himself again it wasn’t because he thought less of being human. Some of them were awful, yes, but the same could be said for angels and gods or any other type of creature really. He’d lived long enough to learn that much at least.
Fortunately before he started feeling too introspective and nostalgic Sam had moved the conversation to a topic that was decidedly more entertaining. Sam really did underestimate the full range of his restored abilities sometimes.
“I turned you into a car. Of course I can turn you into a woman. Your body is just a vessel for your soul. As long as your soul and your mind are in tact the rest is just blood and sinew, really.” Gabriel leaned closer and settled his chin on Sam’s shoulder and waggled his eyebrows in a teasing sort of way.
“I’d never do it unless you asked me too for some reason, obviously. And that’s assuming the hotel would let me. It doesn’t let me do everything I know how to do or I’d have us all outta here by now.”
