Sam hadn't seen Gabe in his peripheral vision enter the room, and his voice suddenly kind of startled him. He smiled to himself as he turned around to continue shaking out his and DJ's socks and throwing them into the basket.
"Hopefully we don't have to worry about any of that and this ends soon. But I dunno. Probably until they fell off or ran to the washing machine themselves." he thought he was funny. "Dean and me went on a hunt one time, and I think he went seven days without changing. He flipped his underwear inside out and said that gave them a few more days. He stunk though. Even with showers taken, he was still the smelly kid."
Sam gave a brief shudder for effect as he slid his basket down the counter to make room for Gabe's small load of clothes next to washer. He inclined his head to give Gabriel a chaste kiss in greeting and then nodded over to the bottle of detergent. A very large part of him wanted to take Gabe's clothes and throw them in to do himself, but he also thought that Gabriel wouldn't let something like that fly. Especially not right now. But it wouldn't hurt to ask.
"You want me to get those started for you? It's just a capful of detergent, and the settings on the machine are already set, and I don't mind."
