It was kind of sad how thirty four actually did seem old -- at least for people in their world and profession. Levi wasn't too far behind Erwin, but that didn't mean he wouldn't poke fun at him. Particularly when he did sentimental things or pulled out chairs for Levi when it was wholly unnecessary. But also kind of nice? "I dunno," he said, testing his balance in Erwin's lap, finding he liked the easy, careful weight of his hand on the small of his back. "You seem like you'd bring someone flowers just because it's polite."
But he didn't really want to talk about general perceptions (they both knew each other at least a little more than all that) so much as lean in again, fingers tracing the curve and sharp lines of Erwin's jaw. "Just this right now," he said -- because he wasn't one to ever be vague about much of anything, this was what he wanted currently -- and leaned in for another kiss.
