"Thank you," responded Erwin, acknowledging the tea as he moved to sit in his own chair. He still favored coffee and could have easily conjured his own at this point, but tea was a welcomed change. Besides, that wasn't the point of this particular exchange. He sipped his tea slowly, pausing a moment before responding to Levi's question.
"Not much. That may have helped my own concern about this place, in hindsight. When I arrived and learned you were without your gear, as well as learning there were people with Sabrina's magic here, I was on edge, to say the least. Not knowing who else could be here or what their skills are. Admittedly, there could still be someone who hasn't openly shared their abilities, and I wouldn't blame them. I'm a stranger, after all."
He fell silent, looking back up to Levi with a smirk on his lips. "Is that your way of saying you know of a perfect place for a proper date?" He knew it wasn't, but Erwin couldn't help but tease just a little. He knew why Levi was asking. They had spent their whole lives behind walls, exploring only a little bit of the way outside of them as the Titans allowed. There was a whole world outside, a world Erwin would never see. At least Levi had been able to see his dream, then.
