There were other things flooding back to her now, like the memory of their first serious talk in here in this room after Hux had told her they'd already spoken. She'd told him she was struggling with wanting to hurt people. She'd forgotten just how raw those emotions had been due to how tempered they'd become over the last few months. She had anchors now, no longer feeling bereft.
