You don't strike me as rude. Perhaps quick to take offense, but that is a feature of monotheists everywhere, in my experience.
Where I come from, angels (and their god, and their god's son, and his virgin mother) are a scourge the rest of us who have fallen out of favor cannot avoid. They're on everything from the tops of Christmas trees, to painted in murals, to showing up in toast.
While the rest of us wither and die, forgotten, they thrive and multiply in their guises. I have no interest in your feats of holy justice, no more than I am sure your kind - at least those in my world - cares for those they replaced. It's the way of things. And I am not blind to your abilities, which are mighty and have served even me.
