He didn't notice all of the changes at once, the smell came first, then their eyes, and it took a little longer to notice the bronze in their skin, but he found it a little bit fascinating, moving to brush fingers lightly over the dip of their collarbone where it looked most obvious in the light. He leaned in to brush his lips to follow after his fingers, tasting the metal and heat in their skin. It was unlike anything else he'd experienced but he thought he could come to very much enjoy it very quickly.
He chuckled softly and a flush ran from his chest up under the collar, feeling a bit like a kid caught in the cookie jar. He reached for the hem of his shirt and removed that too. The scar in the middle of his chest was obviously the most notable thing about what he'd uncovered, but he worried a little bit less every time he showed it to someone new. "It doesn't hurt." he offered, pre-emptively, to assuage any unease before it could form.
