They watched Eddie's expression for any sign that something might need to be shifted or adjusted a little or there. It was of no consequence to them if it did. They would take no offense at the request. If anything, it was part of the fun of being able to shift their appearance at will. No lover would ever be disappointed. And yet, he didn't seem to find any fault in them like this.
J'mon slowly let the rest of the guise fade away - the little things that made them look more human, such as the color of their eyes or the faint sheen of aged brass that shimmered in the dips and hollows of their skin. The scent of metal deepened as well, though they might have kept that at bay had they not been temporarily distracted by the brief touch. They could indulge those curious touches all day, given the opportunity. But it was only fair that Eddie joined them in a state of undress.
