Eddie had enjoyed the closeness as they walked and, while he hadn't been staring, he did glance over to J'mon when he could. There was certainly something that felt otherworldly about them, even when they looked as human as they did now. Almost like his mind would sense that it was a facade, even if he didn't already know it to be true. A part of him thought he should be self-conscious. He was only human and, in his mind, average at best when it came to his appearance. But he tried to push those thoughts away, blaming them on his mother or his wife or the bullies he'd been dealing with as long as he could remember. They weren't here.
He glanced around the room as well, once inside, and noticing Jinn wasn't there he found that he didn't have strong feelings one way or the other about it. He would have liked to see him, yes, but he also didn't mind that he and J'mon were their alone. He sat at the edge of the bed next to their bag and thanked them for the tea when it was offered, holding it in both of his hands.
"I guess I'm mostly just..curious. About what you are, what you can do. But whatever you want to share, I'd like to know." It didn't have to be now, they hadn't known each other that long and he would understand if J'mon only wanted to share bits and pieces now, if anything. He'd like to know someday, but he could wait.
