Daphne turned, hearing the tear in reality, and watched her teacher step through. She hadn't noticed it at first, the fact that his shadow didn't move smoothly with him. No, she was standing a little straighter now that he was there. It was more out of habit than necessity. She still had a lot of respect for the elders of the circle in her system. That and while Circle Twilight was nicer than Circle Midnight, they weren't above slipping into thinking humans were lesser at times. "I'm doing okay. Just a little antsy, because nothing bad has happened to me yet." Yet. The constant hanging dread was always something. She'd been pretty happy-go-lucky until Dean got ripped apart in front of her at Halloween. He came back, but it had been a game-changer.

"The hotel gifted me these," she said dumping the necklaces into her palm. I just thought I'd put them to good use, so charms?" It was then that she saw the shadow move out of the corner of her eye, then him a moment later.
The turn of her head was slow as her eyes and locked on the shaded area as it moved again...and then Strange behind it. "Cloak?" she questioned.
